Thanksgiving Lunch

Thank you girls for a wonderful Lunch - Sorry i was late but Line 9 is still on strike.
Maybe next year for a Turkey Dinner?

For the French:

Thanksgiving is an American holiday that falls on the fourth Thursday of every November. Its when Americans give thanks to god for delivering them from their land of oppression - ENGLAND! Depriving England of their largest colony's natural resources is probably what killed the English Empire and saved another excursion into France. And since then they have done nothing but drink, watch soccer, and almost lose a "war" with the Falklands. No thanks required from France!

Then 200 Years later we gave thanks to the Indians for helping show us when and where to grow the right vegetables as well as helping us survive that first Winter without food, by taking their land for all our new european immigrants (no thanks necessary France...) and almost killing them off.

300 years later we came back to apologize by reintroducing our gene pool to the British populace while waiting for the D-Day invasion. (no thanks... you get the point right?)

350 Years later there are several hundred Indian casinos, and their annual revenues are close to $20 billion.

So as you can see We are good friends to keep around even if we may need to take a little at the start. : )
